Brittany Petronella is a Photographer & Photo Editor with a passion for visual storytelling. She grew up in Nyack, NY; the birthplace and hometown of one of her biggest artistic inspirations, Edward Hopper. When Brittany was growing up, she was heavily into performing arts. Brittany’s connection and admiration for theatrics has definitely shaped her photographic style. She is drawn to creating cinematic portraits, almost as if they are film stills from a movie. Brittany incorporates a fictional twist to her photographs, which primarily focus on intimacy and anxiety.
Brittany received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography at SUNY Purchase in 2016. Shortly after she began working as a photo editor for NYC & Company.
